The University of Electronic Science and Technology (UEST) Fury Electric Formula Racing Team was established in 2016, which is a university student innovation research team formed by the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UEST) Intelligent Driving Joint Research Center (IDJRC) for FSC, aiming to cultivate composite and outstanding talents in the field of electric vehicle research. In the past three years, the Fury Formula Electric Racing Team has won the National Third Prize in the Formula Electric Competition for Chinese University Students, and in 2023, it won the second place in the Tri-Power Technology Sharing Award, the Outstanding Tri-Power System Design Award, and the Battery Tank Design Award. 2024, the unmanned team, which took part in the Formula Unmanned Competition for Chinese University Students for the first time, also succeeded in winning the Third Prize in the National Competition.
